The Challenge

Four trusted platforms, one new brand to launch.

[01]

A unified brand from zero

Four separate product legacies had to read as one coherent platform. The site needed a single voice, visual system and navigation that made the consolidation feel intentional, not stitched together.

[02]

A very large product architecture

Foundation, distribution, supply-chain and accounting modules; persona apps; technology pages; and a full AI product line. The information architecture had to hold 70+ pages without losing the buyer.

[03]

Two distinct buyers

A maintenance director judging operational fit and a sales manager judging speed-to-quote read the same site differently. Both had to find their path quickly.

[04]

Enterprise credibility, modern feel

Aviation ERP is a conservative category. The site had to look current and confident — closer to modern defence-tech than legacy enterprise software — without alienating a compliance-minded audience.

[05]

Lead capture at the core

Every module, market and AI page had to funnel toward a demo request. The build needed consistent, reliable HubSpot forms wired across the whole site.

[06]

Discoverable in search and AI

A brand-new domain with no history needed SEO foundations from day one — and, given where aviation buyers now research, deliberate optimisation for AI answer engines too.

Goals and Approach.

[01]

A standalone brand home

Launch CAMP Aviate as its own destination, distinct from campsystems.com, with a coherent identity across the whole product story.

[02]

Tell the full platform

Give every ERP module, persona app, technology pillar and AI product a clear page in a navigable, scalable structure.

[03]

Route to a demo

Make "Request a Demo" the through-line — consistent HubSpot lead capture on every page that matters.

[04]

Speak to each buyer

Market and solution pages tuned to MRO, parts distribution, FBO and role-based buyers (CEO, COO, Sales, Finance, IT, Quality).

[05]

Scale without rework

A template-driven WordPress build so the CAMP team could add module, AI and market pages fast, from shared components.

[06]

Search & AEO from day one

Schema, sitemap, clean URLs and an AI-crawler-aware robots.txt so a new domain is discoverable in both search and AI answers.

Onboarding Call

Onboarding Call

The kickoff call brought together Anand Ashok, Helixr's Marketing Manager Sally Walker, Curious London's lead designer Tom Windsor, and Helixr stakeholder Neil Littlejohn. Rather than a scoping conversation, it was a design handover: Tom screen-shared the Figma file and walked through every section — personas and user journeys already completed by the agency, the sitemap, wireframes, and the near-final desktop and mobile templates — annotating animation notes live as he went. It was agreed on the call that Figma was the single source of truth for layout; a separate animation reference file existed only to show motion, not final structure. Testing would happen on Quixta's internal server first, with migration to Helixr's WP Engine hosting only once the client gave a green light.

      Detailed Development Process Over Guesswork.

      Development

      Development

Development led by Ashutosh Tiwari with Shilpa Sharma and Prayank Sharma building pages in WordPress + Elementor. No custom code; all editable via Elementor. Shilpa delivered 27 pages in batches, including Privacy Policy, FAQs, Admissions, Curriculum, Campuses, and Services. Progress tracked via shared Google Sheet with prototype and dev links, QA status, and client review. Key integrations: WP Event Manager Calendar, Google Maps, OpenApply redirect, Bunny.net for video hosting.

      Notable Technical Challenges and Solutions

      SEO continuity on launch

Every legacy URL had to migrate unchanged, and Rank Math gave the team direct, in-admin control over meta titles, permalinks and descriptions post-launch — without needing a developer for routine SEO housekeeping.

      Total self-serve

Helixr's Marketing Manager and practice directors were already writing and structuring their own content in Excel and Figma before a single page was built. A headless layer between WordPress and the front end would have added a translation step between the CMS and what the marketing team could see and edit - flexible content blocks kept that loop direct.

Scale and shape of the content

With 25+ individual team bios, dozens of case studies and insights, and a scope that grew by 60+ pages mid-project, the templates needed to be quick to instantiate and easy for a non-technical team to populate - exactly what WordPress's page/component model is built for.

Why We Built this in Webflow

      Technology logo
      Feature image 1

      [01]

      Budget & Timeline fit

A 40-page custom build at $4,600 in 8 weeks. WordPress's battle-tested ecosystem let us move fast without sacrificing quality. A comparable Next.js build would have added 4–6 weeks and significant cost — not the right trade-off for every client.

      Feature image 2

      [02]

CMS the client can actually use

Ibrahim and Ajmal update clinic hours, staff bios, and blog posts without touching code or raising a ticket. WordPress's admin panel works from day one — no training, no dependency on Quixta for routine content changes.

      [03]

      Healthcare plugin ecosystem

Schema markup, GDPR cookie consent, live chat, Google Maps, and Hearlink booking widget — all covered by mature, maintained WordPress solutions. Building this in a headless stack would have been cost-prohibitive.

      [04]

      Full HTML control for SEO

No page builder. No theme. Custom PHP templates for every page type — complete control over heading structure, schema injection, canonical tags, and Core Web Vitals. The 42% position improvement was built into the markup from day one.

      [05]

      Scalable hosting on Cloudways

Deployed on Cloudways (DigitalOcean), not shared hosting. Server-side caching, WP Rocket, WebP images. Fast, scalable, and the client controls their own hosting account — no lock-in to any proprietary infrastructure.

      [06]

      Full ownership on delivery

On go-live: full source code, admin credentials, all design files, CMS walkthrough. No retainer required to keep the site running. No per-seat licensing. No platform fee that scales with traffic. The site belongs to them — not to any vendor.

What makes an ERP platform site different.

      Architecture is the design problem

An enterprise platform has dozens of modules and use cases. The real work is an information architecture and component system that expose all of it without burying the buyer.

Credibility sells to a conservative buyer

Aviation and maintenance teams buy on trust and compliance. The site has to feel current and confident while signalling reliability to a risk-averse, technical audience.

      Every page is a funnel

Module, market and solution pages all lead somewhere: a demo. Consistent, reliable lead capture across the whole site matters more than any single hero.

      Built to grow

Platforms keep shipping. The site has to be a template system the client's own team can extend with new modules and products, not a fixed artifact.

Not every way of building is alike.

      Basic tools / MVPs

Every design decision in this project was grounded in UX research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking. We don't open Figma until we understand who the patient is.

      Mid-level platforms

Technical SEO — schema, 301 redirects, URL architecture, on-page optimisation — built into development, not added after. The site ranked within weeks because it was built to rank.

      Advanced / Enterprise systems

The location page template means Direct Ear Care can open a clinic in Leeds and add a ranking-ready page themselves. The digital infrastructure scales with the business.
